2026–2028 Executive Board Term

LEADERSHIP STARTS WITH YOU!

Are you ready to make an impact? Do you know someone who is? The Western Region Jail Association (WRJA) is now accepting nominations for the 2026–2028 Executive Board. We are looking for passionate, dedicated, and forward-thinking professionals to lead our association into
the future.

Nomination Period:
July 20 – August 20, 2025

Nominations are open to all WRJA members, regardless of rank, job title, or position. Whether you’re a frontline officer, civilian staff member, supervisor, or administrator, your voice and leadership matter!

  • Seeking Nominations for President, President Elect, First Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary

WHY SERVE?

  • Represent your agency and fellow professionals across the state
  • Shape WRJA training events and professional development opportunities
  • Build meaningful partnerships and influence the direction of corrections
  • Make a lasting impact on the association and the field

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

  • After the nomination window closes, ballots will be distributed to all member agencies
  • Voting will occur in late August through early September
  • Election results will be announced at the WRJA Fall Conference on October 1, 2025, at the Inn at Virginia Tech

WHO CAN BE NOMINATED?

  • Any active WRJA member in good standing
